A pristine rainforest hike through the Buccament Valley. The perfect excursion for nature lovers, bird watchers, and botanists.
Located in the lush Buccament Valley, the Vermont Nature Trail winds through deep tropical rainforest and volcanic mountain ridges. The key highlight of this tour is the chance to spot the Amazona guildingii (Saint Vincent Parrot), our national bird, in its natural habitat. The trek is a loop containing steps and paths lined with tree ferns, giant bamboo, and exotic flowers. At the peak overlook point, we pause at a lookout shelter hoping to observe parrots flying across the canyon canopy.
